We are looking for an experienced and innovative Mathematics & Science Teacher to join a private school in Naivasha. The successful candidate will have a track record of learner-centered teaching, and a passion for shaping well-rounded learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics and Science lessons aligned to the CBE curriculum.
- Apply learner-centered approaches and differentiated instruction to meet diverse needs.
- Conduct ongoing formative assessments to guide learning progress.
- Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking in the classroom.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to enhance student development.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain academic excellence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics & Science.
- Registered and certified by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
- Proven ability to deliver interactive and engaging lessons.
- Strong assessment and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Able to report immediately.
