Maths Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)

Our client, a reputable private school in Naivasha, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Mathematics Teacher for Key Stage 3 & 4. In this role, you will provide individualized support and encouragement, to help students excel academically and build confidence in their mathematical abilities, positively impacting their overall educational experience. Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver Mathematics lessons that align with the British Curriculum and cater to various learning needs.
• Utilize a range of teaching resources and technology to make Mathematics accessible and engaging.
• Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome learning challenges and achieve their potential.
• Prepare and administer regular assessments to track and support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide detailed reports to parents and school administration.
• Collaborate with the Maths department to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching practices.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in Mathematics education.
• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to support student learning.
• Fulfill assigned duties in the school duty roster, including teacher on duty responsibilities.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education degree with Mathematics specialization.
• Registered with the TSC.
• Minimum three years’ teaching experience in a recognized Cambridge International School.
• In-depth knowledge of Mathematics and the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to make complex mathematical concepts understandable and engaging.
• Passionate about teaching and fostering a love for Mathematics and critical thinking.

• Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance Mathematics instruction.
