Office Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Kijabe, Kenya
Salary: Ksh15,000 – Ksh20,000

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Office Assistant to ensure the smooth day-to-day business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and handling inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence effectively.
  • Organizing and maintaining both physical and digital filing systems.
  • Monitoring office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed.
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
  • Assisting with the organization of office events and activities.
  • Supporting procurement processes and maintaining vendor records.
  • Providing basic IT support to ensure smooth operation of office equipment and technology.
  • Handling sensitive information and maintaining strict confidentiality in all tasks.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative or office support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively.
  • A professional demeanor and ability to work with minimal supervision.
