Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Tech Lead to join their team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing their technical projects, managing the team of developers, and ensuring that the website and digital products meet high standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining the website and digital products.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee the technical architecture and implementation of new features and enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
• Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role.
• Proficiency in WordPress development and experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
